Waterfront’s corporate team have advised Virtual Internships on a $14.3 million Series A investment led by Hambro Perks with participation from Sequoia India and Southeast Asia’s Surge, Arsenal Growth, Kaplan, Ascend Vietnam Ventures and STIC Investments.
Virtual Internships, which was founded in 2018 by Daniel Nivern and Ed Holroyd Pearce, remotely matches university students from around the world with more than 12,000 companies from 100 countries. It aims to provide a platform for young people to pursue the career of their dreams, regardless of their location, background or experience.
The Waterfront team advising on the investment was led by corporate partner, Matt Cunningham, with support from partners Angus Young and Anthony Purvis, and associates Charlotte Lang and Jo Stacy.
