Yesterday the Waterfront team welcomed professionals from other local specialist firms for its inaugural Boutique Law Lunch Hour. It was great to catch up with our friends at accountants Praxis LLP, immigration specialists Wesley Gryk, property law gurus RLS and family experts Philcox Gray, so thank you to everyone who came along.
We were lucky to have a presentation from Richard Allen of pricing experts Burcher Jennings, who delivered a really informative talk on the psychology behind the decisions we make every day when we buy a product or service. It really sparked conversation and next time we will all be wise to the cinema’s trick when asked if we want to super-size our popcorn for just 50p more!
The event also coincided with our Macmillan Coffee Morning so everyone was able to take home some cake in return for a charity donation. Special mention and thanks must go to our star baker Francesca Allport. The numbers are still being counted but it looks like we broke the record for the most we have ever raised!
