Andrew specialises in both corporate/M&A as well as complex commercial & outsourcing contracts. He has particular sector specialism in FinTech, Telecoms & Digital Infrastructure, Gaming/Gambling and Defence Tech.
He has worked on both sides of the legal divide, advising clients as an external lawyer, as well as from within a corporate legal team, giving him the unique perspective of understanding internal corporate processes, as well as applying specialist external legal knowledge.
Andrew’s corporate expertise, and sector specific knowledge, enables him to seamlessly guide clients throughout their corporate transaction, from diligence through integration. His experience spans M&A (both buyside and sellside), investment rounds, JV’s, corporate re-organisations, share schemes, constitutional documents, ESG compliance (ESOP/SECR) and general internal corporate documentation.
On the commercial side, Andrew has vast experience advising clients on matters ranging from satellite telecoms to full infrastructure outsourcing arrangements. He has particular expertise in financial markets infrastructure (including cloud hosted applications), gaming/gambling platforms & content, as well as dual use technologies.
Andrew has experience in working closely with organisations of all sizes from start ups to global S&P 500 companies. Having trained at Waterfront, Andrew went on to spend 10 years in financial services legal roles before returning to Waterfront to head up the corporate and commercial practice.
