Boris Petri is an Associate in the IP & Disputes team. He advises clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including trade mark, design, copyright and patent disputes, as well as wider commercial litigation.
I advise SMEs, entrepreneurs and individuals on protecting, commercialising and enforcing their intellectual property rights. My experience includes High Court litigation involving trade mark and copyright infringement, breaches of confidence and other commercial disputes. I also advise on the intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions and have experience drafting and negotiating licensing and assignment agreements.
In addition to my intellectual property practice, I have experience across a range of dispute resolution matters, including debt recovery, insolvency and property litigation.
Prior to joining Waterfront in February 2025, I worked in the Dispute Resolution team at Downs Solicitors LLP, where I qualified as a solicitor in December 2022.
I believe in providing clear, pragmatic and commercially focused advice. By taking the time to understand each client’s objectives, I help develop strategies that balance risk, cost and efficiency while delivering practical solutions tailored to their needs.
