Waterfront advises Metavallon VC in relation to pre-seed and seed capital investments totalling over €1.75m in a number of UK companies, including Racecheck, Intelistyle, Citizen UK and Entomics.

Metavallon VC is a venture capital fund based in Athens, Greece, that makes pre-seed and seed stage investments in early stage technology start-ups.

Racecheck is an application that brings a one stop solution for recreational endurance athletes and event organisers, facilitating event search and booking, accommodation planning and connecting participants.

Intelistyle provides A.I. styling solutions to fashion retailers, helping them address the needs of customers looking for styling advice. Its products help them increase revenue, scale their styling services and create distinctive online and in store experiences.

Citizen is an Identity as a Service company that enables businesses to safely authenticate, communicate and transact with their customers, without the friction of passwords. In 2017 the Citizen team participated in the London-based Barclays Accelerator, supported by TechStars, where they were recognised as one of London’s leading Fintech businesses.

Entomics is developing enabling technology solutions for growing insects for the food and feed sector. Focusing their efforts on developing functional insect meals for Atlantic salmon, Entomics is also developing a data-driven engineering solution that will enable the customer to efficiently transport waste at a value less than it can be harnessed for.

Waterfront advised Metavallon on all legal aspects of the Racecheck, Intelistyle, Citizen and Entomics investments, including negotiation of the investment documents.
