Piers has extensive experience in the areas of confidential information and data protection. He also advises clients – of all sizes and from a broad spectrum of business sectors – on more general IT disputes, often relating to computer software.
In addition, Piers is adept at managing competition law cases, particularly those that involve an element of IP law. He represents both international and UK-based clients, who come to depend on his wide-ranging knowledge of business and his impressive track record when it comes to litigating in the High Court, including the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC).
His achievements and abilities have been recognised by both national and international legal guides.

Piers is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA). He is currently serving on its Emerging Issue sub-committee, focusing on blockchain issues.
