Waterfront has advised Marathon VC (“Marathon”) in relation to its $1.3 million seed investment in UK based start-up, Hack the Box.
Operating out of Athens, Marathon is a seed-stage fund, helping ambitious Greek founders build world-class technology companies.
Hack the Box is a UK based start-up that has created an online platform providing labs and challenges for cyber security penetration testing. By incorporating gamification and social elements Hack the Box aims to make the experience a fun and rewarding way to enhance the skills of its 117,000 users to date.
The Waterfront team was led by Matt Cunningham (Partner) assisted by Okachi Kejeh (Associate) and Charlotte Lang (Trainee).
Waterfront previously advised Marathon in relation to its $1 million seed investment in Lenses (formerly Landoop), a data streaming management platform for Apache Kafka.
