Waterfront has advised the shareholders of The Wandsworth Group, premium manufacturer of switch ranges and professional emergency call systems for hospitals and care facilities, on its sale to German building technology specialist and smart building pioneer Gira.
With the acquisition, Gira hopes to sustainably tap into the growth potential of the large British market through the existing brand recognition and sales strength of The Wandsworth Group that was founded in the UK in 1904.
The Waterfront team advising on the deal was led by partner Angus Young and included associates Charlotte Lang and Jo Stacy and partner Matt Cunningham.
