Waterfront advised the founders (Ian Parry and Andrew Miles) of Realla Ltd (“Realla”), in the sale of their shares in Realla, a commercial property search engine, to the CoStar Group, the leading global provider of commercial real estate information analytics and online market places.
Realla is the UK’s largest free-to-list online search engine for commercial property. Established in 2016 it was set up to provide a dedicated online platform for commercial property, conscious that this was already common place for residential property. Realla also provides industry insight alongside a commercial property marketing and data management platform for agents and landlords.
The Waterfront team was led by Angus Young (Partner) with support from Okachi Kejeh, Graham Halliday and Matthew Akehurst (Associates).
Angus Young commented: “Waterfront was engaged by Realla shortly after inception and we saw them through to a trade sale. We thoroughly enjoyed guiding Realla and its founders through this journey.”
Andrew Miles, Co-Founder of Realla Ltd, commented: “The depth of Waterfront’s experience was invaluable. We were impressed by their pragmatic and commercial approach and would certainly recommend them for other M&A transactions.”
