Waterfront Partner, Andrew Gordon, has advised Infinum through their acquisition of AMR Cybersecurity, the company’s first UK acquisition. Andrew’s work on this transaction included UK group structuring, due diligence and transaction documents. As AMR are a provider of cybersecurity services to UK government departments, we also needed to go through the NSIA approval process.
This acquisition marks the first UK acquisition for the Infinum group, a high growth and ambitious global technology company. The acquisition also marks the building blocks to the company’s planned growth of its cybersecurity capabilities, which along with its technology and development expertise, makes a truly compelling proposition for clients.
Andrew Gordon commented – “It was a genuine pleasure working with the Infinum team on this transaction. The whole team at Infinum are great, very ambitious and entrepreneurial, exactly the type of people I love working with. This transaction marks a big step in the Infinum journey, not only its first in the UK, but also the start of a strategic push to become a global provider of cybersecurity services, in addition to their already very impressive portfolio of tech and development services. I have no doubt that the team will make a success of this, and wish them the best of luck.”
Igor Vuksanovic, CFO of Infinum, commented – “Andrew and the Waterfront team were very important in making this transaction work for Infinum. As our first UK acquisition, we needed a legal partner to give us quality, calm and measured legal advice on the process, which Andrew and the team did very well.”
