Francesca brings 6+ years’ experience handling design, trade mark, copyright and passing off disputes across the High Court, Court of Appeal and IPEC.
I am a commercially minded IP disputes solicitor with over six years’ experience in legal practice and more than three years’ PQE, specialising in contentious intellectual property across trade marks, copyright, design right and patents. Since joining Waterfront, I have been part of the IP & Commercial Disputes team, managing complex High Court and IPEC matters and leading on strategy, client reporting and mentorship.
My experience spans high-value litigation, multi-jurisdictional brand protection, registry disputes and alternative dispute resolution. I have been trusted to handle significant cases drafting pleadings, managing evidence and giving testimony at trial. I take a pragmatic, client-focused approach, aligning litigation strategy with commercial goals to deliver clear, effective outcomes.
Outside of the courtroom, I balance my professional life with sports (specifically NFL), fitness, and baking, and I enjoy catching up with friends over a good glass of wine.
We have turned to Waterfront for advice on HR issues for several years now. We find their lawyers to be very knowledgeable, responsive and able to find practical solutions to the HR challenges we face as a large organisation.
